Every Thursday in summer we go up from Monte Pana to Mont de Sëura for an aperitif unlike any other: on the chairlift, towards one of the most beautiful peaks in the Dolomites. Limited seats, exclusive experience only by reservation.

The experience

How the Flying Aperitivo works

By reservation only. No queues, no waiting: only people with tickets show up, keeping the experience exclusive.

    Meeting at the bottom station of the Monte Pana-Mont de Sëura chairlift

    Departure at 18:00. Arrive a few minutes early, punctuality is always appreciated.

  2. 02

    Going up with the chairlift

    Choose your drink. On the chair you'll find the dedicated table, your drink, and the board. The chairlift runs slower than usual, giving you time to enjoy the panorama in the evening light.

  3. 03

    Ride lasting about 50 minutes

    The chairlift runs slower than usual, giving you time to enjoy the Val Gardena panorama during the golden hour.

The next dates

We fly every Thursday, 10 June – 9 September 2027. Registrations for each date close the night before at 20:00. Seats are limited and access is restricted to those who booked online: this avoids queues and waiting on the spot. We recommend booking in advance to secure a seat, especially during peak season weeks.

Questions

The questions we are asked most often

Do I need to book?

Yes. Seats are limited and registrations close the night before at 20:00. Showing up at departure without a booking does not guarantee a seat.

Until when can I book?

Until 20:00 the night before. After that time the date closes and the kitchen prepares the boards for the exact number of guests.

Can I bring children?

Yes, accompanied by an adult. Children under 14 pay €29, drink a non-alcoholic beverage, and occupy a seat like adults.

Can I bring my dog?

No. Dogs cannot participate in the Flying Aperitivo, not even small ones.

What if it rains?

We write to you as soon as we have decided: usually well ahead, but a sudden thunderstorm can force us to call it off shortly before departure. Either we fly as planned, or the evening is cancelled because of the weather and we refund everything.

Can I change the date?

Write to us: if there is room on another date we will try to move you. If it is the weather that stops us, the evening is cancelled and you are refunded in full.

I have an allergy, an intolerance or follow a special diet. How do I communicate it?

Write it in the notes when you book. The kitchen will take it into account and we will have a suitable aperitif prepared for you.

Is there a non-alcoholic alternative?

Always. Just ask for it at departure, at the same price.

What is included

A glass and a board, for every seat

Everything is included in the price: drink, refill, board, and a round trip on the chairlift.

The iconic view from the Monte Pana chairlift

The protagonist is the Sassolungo, with its 3,181 meters: a vertical wall that dominates the panorama from every point of the plateau. Next to it, the Sassopiatto (2,964 m), recognizable by its flatter and more rounded peak — together they form the pair of peaks that characterizes the western side of Val Gardena. But during the aperitif on the chairlift your gaze goes much further: the Sciliar, with its profile above the Alpe di Siusi; the Sella Group, an imposing rocky plateau; and, towards Ortisei, the Seceda with the pinnacles of the Odle Group in the background — one of the most photographed panoramas in the Dolomites.

Departures at 18:00. Arrive a few minutes early: the chairlift departs punctually.
Prices
€68 per person, €29 for children under 14. Online payment at the time of booking.
Children
They are welcome, accompanied by an adult. Soft drinks or water are available.

Communicate this during booking in the notes. The kitchen will take it into account and we will prepare a suitable aperitif.

What to wear
At 18:00, at altitude, it is cooler than it seems from the village: bring a sweatshirt or a light jacket even on hot days.

Online only, until the night before at 20:00. The ticket with the code arrives immediately by email.

Weather

If the weather changes

The Flying Aperitivo takes place outdoors and depends on the weather. As soon as the decision is made we let you know by email: in the mountains the weather can turn at the last moment. There are two possible outcomes.

  1. We're flying

    The weather holds: see you at 18:00 at the valley station, as booked. There is nothing for you to do.

  2. Cancelled

    If the weather doesn't allow us to fly, the evening is cancelled and we refund the full amount to the same payment method. The refund is issued straight away; your bank may take a few days to credit it.
